东南大学青年首席教授、博士生导师，国家优秀青年科学基金项目资助获得者。2009年9月毕业于英国诺丁汉大学岩土工程专业，获哲学博士学位，师从英国皇家工程院院士余海岁教授，并获得“英国工程和物理科学研究委员会（EPSRC）Dorothy Hodgkin 博士生奖学金”；2009年10月-2010年9月在英国诺丁汉大学做岩土工程博士后，获得“英国工程和物理科学研究委员会（EPSRC）博士后奖学金”。

近年来主持包括国家自然科学基金优秀青年科学基金项目、国家自然科学基金面上项目与青年项目、教育部留学回国人员科研启动基金等在内的科研项目13项，主持企事业单位委托的工程科研项目10项。研究成果在衢宁铁路、张吉怀铁路及贵广高铁等多条铁路、公路和城市道路的路堤沉降控制中得到成功应用。

发表学术论文100余篇，其中SCI论文45篇，其中6篇发表在国际岩土工程三大权威期刊《Géotechnique》、《Journal of Geotechnical and Geoenvironmental Engineering》和《Canadian Geotechnical Journal》，以第一作者在国际岩土工程顶级期刊《Géotechnique》上发表论文4篇，EI论文30篇；已授权国家专利19项，授权软件著作权5项。

兼任国际学术期刊《Geotechnical Research》（英国土木工程师协会会刊）编委、中国土木工程学会土力学及岩土工程分会青年工作委员会副主任委员、江苏省青年科技工作者协会理事等，并担任《Géotechnique》、《Journal of Geotechnical and Geoenvironmental Engineering》、《Canadian Geotechnical Journal》和《International Journal of Geomechanics (ASCE)》等国际期刊审稿人。
