In recent five years, the joint laboratory and its supporting organizations have conducted 18 national key research and development (R & D) projects in the field of intelligent disaster prevention and 80+ other national projects. The representative projects are listed as follows:

1. The special key R & D project of the Ministry of Science and Technology: Key technologies and demonstration of active emergency command for urban disaster management and control (2020YFB2103500), 70.48 million. Implementation time: 2020-2023.

2. The National key R & D plan, strategic international cooperation key special project (China Pakistan project): Technical R & D and application demonstration with cooperation for viscoelastic damping recovery and retrofit of post-earthquake buildings (2016YFE0200500), 3.26 million. Implementation time: 2017-2020.

3. The National key R & D plan, strategic international cooperation key special project: Technical R & D and application demonstration with cooperation for strong earthquake ground motion simulation and spatial information integration (2018YFE0206100), 10.36 million. Implementation time: 2019-2022.

4. National key R & D program: R & D of rapid post-disaster detection and evaluation technology and equipment for large bridge and tunnel structures (2019YFC1511100), 36.33 million. Implementation time: 2019-2023.

5. National key R & D project: Seismic disaster occurrence and evolution mechanism and anti-collapse design theory of rural buildings (2018YFD1100402), 7.79 million. Implementation time: 2018-2022.
