In December 2021, the full-scale shaking table test of precast concrete sandwich wall panels with multi-dimensional isolation devices is successfully conducted by China-Pakistan Belt and Road Joint Laboratory on Smart Disaster Prevention of Major Infrastructures.
The test is led by Professor Zhao-Dong Xu in Southeast University, focusing on the complex vibration problems of multi excitation sources and multi directions during the service of building structures, the test takes the prefabricated concrete sandwich wallboard structure as the research object, and adopts the self-developed new high damping multi-dimensional isolation and mitigation device, the seismic performance of the structure and the multi-directional vibration control effect of the multi-dimensional isolation and mitigation device are comprehensively evaluated by shaking table test. This test is a large-scale full-scale shaking table test in the field of multi-dimensional isolation and mitigation. The test structure is 6.4m high and the plane size is 3m ×4m and weighs 26 tons. The prototype structure is produced by Shandong Hongyi fabricated construction technology Co., Ltd. The results of the experiment are of great significance to improve the level of natural disaster prevention in China.
