In recent years, Southeast University has introduced more than 80 doctors in disaster prevention and mitigation fields, including 59 overseas doctors, 3 academicians of the National Academy of Engineering of the United States (Bernard Amadei, Ahsan Kareem, Vijay K Dhir), 1 academician of the Swiss Academy of Engineering (Ian F.C. Smith), 1 academician of the Royal Academy of Engineering of Edinburgh (Mark A Girolami), 2 distinguished professors (Prof. Noori MN and Prof. Jian Zhao), 1 professor of * * scholar (Prof.Yong Lu) and 1 well-known professor in Singapore (Prof. Quek ser Tong). In 2019, the discipline of disaster prevention and mitigation won 111 intelligent innovation and talent introduction base for infrastructure discipline, which will further condense and introduce foreign talents for the development of joint laboratory in the future.
