杨钧教授是国际工程管理领域的著名教授、博士生导师，研究兴趣包括可持续建设、智能建筑、项目管理和信息技术应用等。目前是澳大利亚昆士兰科技大学（QUT）建筑环境和工程学院教授，担任《智能和可持续建筑环境》国际学术期刊主编； 2003年他发起了CIB116工作委员会，并成为最活跃和成长最快的委员会；2007-2010年担任联合国可持续建筑和建设智库委员；出版发表120多篇学术论文；美国Carnegie Mellon大学客座教授。
Jay Yang (PhD, CPEng) is Professor of Construction Engineering and Management and in the Faculty of Built Environment of Engineering, Queensland University of Technology (QUT) in Brisbane, Australia. His research interests include sustainable construction, intelligent buildings, project management, and information technology applications. He is Editor-in-Chief of Smart and Sustainable Built Environment, peer reviewed journal of the international publisher Emerald. He founded the CIB Working Commission 116 in 2003 and has coordinated and led it to become one of the most active and fast growing CIB working commissions. Professor Yang was a member of the United Nation’s Sustainable Building and Construction Initiative Think Tank between 2007 and 2010. He is author of over 120 research publications, and as Principal supervisor, has taken many PhD candidates to successful completion. He was well recognised for his international research contribution through awards such as the CIB Commendation and media exposure such as the Front cover and cover story of Queensland Business Acumen. He was Visiting Professor of Carnegie Mellon University in the USA. He is a Chartered Professional Engineer in Australia. Before becoming an academic, he worked in civil engineering, commercial building, and shipbuilding industries in New Zealand, China, and Australia.
