科简介
  东南大学土木工程学科建立于1923年,经过金宝桢、徐百川、梁治明、刘树勋、丁大钧、方福森、方左英、唐念慈、吕志涛、邓学钧、蒋永生等几代人的不懈努力,已在该领域取得了大批研究成果,在国内外享有较高声誉。现有土木工程博士后流动站、土木工程一级学科博士点、国家重点学科、教育部重点实验室和教育部特聘教授岗位,是国家“211工程”、“985工程”重点建设学科。
建筑与土木工程专业涵盖了结构工程、防灾减灾与防护工程、岩土工程、桥梁与隧道工程、市政工程、土木工程建造与管理、工程力学等学科,不仅涉及工程学科,还与经济学、人文社科、管理学科交叉。
培养目标
掌握马列主义毛泽东思想和邓小平理论,热爱祖国,遵纪守法、学风严谨,实事求是,有良好的敬业精神和合作精神。
培养建筑与土木工程领域应用型高层次技术、管理人才。研究生须掌握该工程领域较坚实的基础理论、宽广的专业知识、现代管理知识以及先进的科技方法。具有独立从事建筑与土木工程规划、工程设计、工程施工和工程管理的工作能力。

培养年限
   学习年限一般为2年。
学分要求和课程设置(见附表)
学位论文
学位论文选题应来源于应用课题或现实问题,必须有明确的职业背景和应用价值。学位论文形式可采用调研报告、应用基础研究、规划设计、产品开发、案例分析、项目管理分析报告等形式。学位论文要求概念清楚、论述严谨、计算正确、数据可靠,且层次分明、文笔简洁、流畅、图标及各类符号规范清晰,以体现研究生综合运用科学理论、方法和技术解决实际问题的能力。
在学位论文选题及研究方向范围内至少调研、阅读文献30篇,至少完成一篇综述报告。
围绕学位论文开展科研工作的时间一般不少于1年。鼓励实行双导师制。

Discipline Introduction
Discipline of Civil Engineering of Southeast University was established in 1923. With the tireless efforts of several generations such as Jin Baozhen, Xu Baichuan, Liang Zhiming, Liu Shuxun, Ding Dajun, Fang Fusen, Fang Zuoying, Tang Nianci, Lv Zhitao, Deng Xuejun, Jiang Yongsheng etc., discipline of Civil Engineering has been achieved large number of research results in this area and enjoys a high reputation both at home and abroad. There are Post-doctoral Research Station of Civil Engineering, I Grade Doctoral Discipline of Civil Engineering, the National Key Discipline, Education Ministry Key Laboratory and Changjiang Scholar Professor Positions of Education Ministry. It is the key construction disciplines of the national "211 Project" and "985 Project".
The Architecture and Civil Engineering Specialty covers disciplines such as Structural Engineering, Disaster Prevention and Reduction &Protection Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Bridge and Tunnel Engineering, Municipal Engineering, Civil Construction and Management, Engineering Mechanics. These involve not only engineering, but also economics, humanities and social sciences, management subjects.
Training Target
The master must grasp Marxism-Leninism, Maoism and Deng Xiaoping theory, love Motherland, abide on discipline and law, have rigorous style of study, seek truth from facts and have a good spirit of professionalism and cooperation.
The technical and management personnel in the field of Architecture and Civil Engineering are brought up. The master must have a good broad theoretical foundation of Civil Engineering, knowledge of modern management methods and advanced technology. At the same time, the master is fostered to be able to engage in the field of architecture and civil engineering planning, engineering design, engineering construction and engineering management.

Dissertation
The thesis topics should be derived from the application or practical problems, and must have a clear career background and application value. Thesis research report, applied basic research, planning and design, product development, case studies, project management, analysis and other forms can be used in the dissertation. The dissertation should be required clear concepts, discusses rigorous, correct calculation, reliable data, evident structure, concise writing and regulated symbols in order to reflect the post-graduate’s ability of integrated use of scientific theories, methods and techniques to solve practical problems.
In the scope of the thesis topics and research direction, at least 30 references should be reviewed. At least one synthesis report should be completed.
Thesis research work should be carried out not less than 1 year. The system of Two-Tutor is encouraged.

Note: 1. During master's courses at school, the minimum requirement of the total credits is 26 credits, including degree programs credit of 18 credits (including 2 credits of professional quality courses) which is the minimum requirement, and the remaining are non-degree courses. Furthermore, it should be a compulsory part of the completion of 6 credits.
2. All courses require graduate students to learn after school should normally be completed within half and one year, and degree programs should be learned in the first year.
3. Degree programs are based on this table and non-degree courses are selected from the "post-graduate courses directory".
